Oko Iyabo: Yomi Fabiyi vows to release baba iyabo despite TAMPAN ban

Following the controversial release of the movie produced by the Yoruba actor, Yomi Fabiyi, who is presently on suspension by the umbrella body of Yoruba filmmaker, TAMPAN. The actor has promised his fans that they should look forward to yet another interesting movie he will title, "Baba Iyabo".

Yomi made this statement during a live broadcast on his Instagram page on July 10 when he was responding to criticisms from his recently released movie, Oko Iyabo. A movie that is said to be a direct lash to actress Iyabo Ojo over her role in the Baba Ijesha - Princess saga.

Recall that Mr. Fabiyi was summoned to appear before TAMPAN committee on Ethics, Conflict and Resolution alongside all other casts that participated in the production of Oko Iyabo. He has however, issued a statement that he is not a member of TAMPAN and that the umbrella body lacks the jurisdiction to either suspend him or summon him to appear before any of her committee.

The movie, Oko Iyabo which has been available on YouTube is losely based on Baba Ijesha's alleged sexual assault on a minor saga and his social media trial. Based on the outcry that trailed the release of Oko Iyabo, the movie has been set to private mode on YouTube.
